It left itself for last - as if it knew it was much too smart for him - as if the search bar that had once been there was an overture to another space in time - as if that corner meant more than it really did.

This site is more or less a sandbox – a place to experiment with new ideas.
That principle extends not only to what I choose to write about, but also – and in some ways more so – to the very design and development of the site itself.
As you may have noticed this is a Wordpress (self-hosted) site and as such is limited to what that set of code has to offer.
Even so – Wordpress is a rich and open platform for development and its theme framework allows for any type of layout you can imagine. With the help of third party plug-ins and using existing themes and frameworks as a jumping off point I explore notions, ideas, concepts, and philosophies in an adhoc, transparent, and sometimes ugly manner.
The result of this is a frequently changing, sometimes broken, “we’ll do it live” kind of feel that is at times short of professional. So be warned – this site is sort of like Jefferson’s Monticello - an endless work in progress that will only take on it’s final character on the day that it’s architect leaves this plane.
