Clinton and Palin are so far apart on all key issues that the notion of an intelligent person supporting them both is comical.
August 2008
Isn’t the notion that Clinton supporters would vote GOP because of Palin extremely sexist? Implication: issues don’t matter to women.
What really bothers me about MSM coverage of the election is that they treat it as if the issues don’t exist.
Gender lines are drawn early: my 3 year old daughter drowns my Obama chant with a fiesty Hillary chant of her own - “cuz her a girl”
With RNC08 in full swing by the time Gustav makes landfall NOLA might just have a fighting chance. I mean they can’t be THAT inept can they?
Strange as hell to hear Wolf Blitzer say “Yonder Mountain String Band” live in the situation room. What’s next? Blitzer on YMSB tour?
Wondering if being Catholic in 1960 was as big an obstacle to the presidency as being black in 2008.
Fireworks in the distance and on the TV.
Obama is not making promises (like “read my lips no new taxes”) - he’s setting goals. Complex yet achievable goals.
Isn’t this exactly what a chief executive should do? Set lofty goals and sow the inspiration necessary to meet them.
Wish I got MSNBC in HD - Instead I get Fox News.. And CNN.
When Joe Scarborough was a politician he made my skin crawl - as a morning show host - not so much.
If Sara Palin is still in Alaska then maybe the media is confused and Michael Palin is McCain’s pick.
The Obama campaign should just run old Nixon and Bush spots that challenge the Kennedy/Clinton youth and inexperience.
The Yankees season is effectively over. A comeback now would me historic.
Watching time-shifted #dnc08 speeches on cspan.org after a depressing final night (for me) at Yankee Stadium. Change is in the air.
Hate to say it but this election seems to be a choice between igorance and enlightenment… I wonder how many ignorant folk vote.
I’m watching the Yankees season slowly grind to a halt… may be time to switch to #DNC08
Just leave the money on the dresser as you leave Mrs. Clinton.
